diagnosing asthma

What positions are available in the US military if I have asthma?
I have had diagnosed asthma all of my life. It is very controlled using an inhaler. I am interested in serving my country and I would like to learn more about the positions available to an asthmatic that are closest to active combat (meaning I don’t want to be a cook etc).
Any help would be appreciated!
Any diagnosis of asthma leads to disqualification. You can get a waiver if you haven’t had any problems after 13 years old. If you have to use an inhaler though, you’re not going to get a waiver. I’m very sorry; I hope you can find other ways to serve this country.
