shallow breathing asthma
Maybe it’s because of my shallow breathing?

But running is harder for me than normal people I think. I have to bust my asz to make any progress. I’m very in “shape” but not at running.

I think I have exercise-induced asthma or sumthin but my family wont take me seriously so I have to train extra hard! Or maybe Im just outta shape? How can I learn to use deep breaths?

Thanks

People are different and some are not good at distance running. It has to do with our cardiovascular system and the type of muscle fiber in our bodies. To breath you need to relax. Take deep breaths do not pant or gasp. Do not worry about breathing in through your nose or out through your mouth. The air goes to the same place at the same time regardless. Don’t worry about counting steps and breathing in on so many steps and breathing out on so many steps, just breath. Take in the amount of air you need for the type and speed of running you are doing. As you train your body will become conditioned to your ability.
