Cold and Cough symptoms- any quick fixes?

I’ve been coughing pretty bad for about 4 days now. I woke this morning to a runny nose and have been blowing my nose every 5 minutes. I’m slightly achy and have a headache and fever.
I’m wonderin gif you guys have any suggestions that don’t involve going to the doctor but do involve any home remedies or effective over the counter medicine. Also, I have asthma. I just started back school this week and can’t be sick! Help!
