My mom and grandma don’t like my career choices, help!?
I’ve had a revelation ever since I saw a pamphlet on how to choose a career. So, I guess I’ve been trying to please them by maybe wanting to become a physician. Although, I find being a navy commander to be quite awesome. It uses all my skills and interests: swimming, first aid, French, English, Military History, foreign aid, and Social Studies. My mom fears that I couldn’t handle it because of health problems(past asthma); my grandma thinks I can do better, and I might get killed. What do you think I should do?
Tell Mom & Granny that you could be killed by having a bus run you over tomorrow or in a drive-by shooting.
As for whether you choose to do for your career…remind them that you had no say in their career choices…while you appreciate their input, your career choice is YOUR CHOICE, not their choice.
That being said…I wish you luck, and stay safe!
Good Luck!
