allergic response asthma

Fumigation question – I’ve been living in the same house for 10 years (not the owner)?
Hi, I would like to know if I asked the owner of my house to fumigate, and he said no, the steps I could take, would there be a way to make him fumigate by law or something? Everytime I go get a midnight snack or something there are at least 5 roaches in my kitchen.
Theres a huge hole in the bottom of the kitchen sink where the cabinet is, and that’s where they come from, snakes could possibly come in through there too if the hole were to be discovered, I have asthma and am allergic to roach dust and droppings.
Is there anything I can do to make him fumigate? They’re penny pincher’s and i’m sick of roaches they are gross and make me sick.
Thank you for your responses =)
Looking to find a way to make him fumigate, I already have medication and stuff.
First if you are an Asthmatic, don’t ask anyone to Fumigate. Fumigation is the last thing you need. Fumigation is a fine mist and takes forever to settle. Tell the landlord your problem and ask if he would have an exterminator come in and spray the house for the Roaches. Exterminator can use a low pressure stream to cover all the baseboards, around door casings and down any hole they might run to. The product he will use will stay active for up to 30 days and when the roaches run accross what is dried they will still pick up a powdered residue that the spray has turned into. First thing the roach will do is to clean his feet and since it is not human and no one showed him how to clean it’s feet it will lick them and you may see some slow moving ones and in a weeks time if you step on them they will crunch as the stuff dries all the fluids from their bod’s . Of course if you or someone is there when the guy sprays, you can tell him about the Asthma and maybe he will have an alternative spray. In my younger years I ran a Pest Control Business but things have changed since then and so have products. Also my young dear, don’t mess with your Asthma, we lost our only daughter eight years ago to an unexpected Asthma attack and was the second one in our area for the same type. She was getting super Oxygen but her body could not get rid of the Carbon Dioxide by breathing out and all her body functions shut down. She had not taken a pill or used an Atomizer for over a year. So Take Care Please!
